Jackie wrote on Facebook: I’m so sad to hear of the passing of the legendary Robert Redford. For a moment in time he was my onscreen dad. He took a chance on me by casting me as his daughter and to act alongside an icon such as him is an experience I’ll never forget! He was so kind, caring, loving, and most importantly, patient, with me during filming. Not enough good things can be said about him! He was truly the best and will be greatly missed! Rest peacefully “dad”

It is now 15 years ago that Jackie made her first audition in America Got Talent, singing a soaring rendition of 'O Mio Babbino Caro' and one of the most jaw-dropping moments in the show's history.
